There are so many delightful things about having hard-won manuscripts converted into published books, despite receiving the rejection slips that fell all around me like confetti, but the real opportunity to be able to meet readers like you just about beats everything.

​​At the suggestion of his publishers, I am writing my first International Crime Novel, ‘The Gardens of Shared Happiness,’ which is a historical fictional novel, involving Classical Chinese Gardens and the first Nationalist Prime Minister of China. It is a rip-roaring, all-action book, encompassing Shaolin monks, Japanese samurai, and a prophetess who divines by using burnt animal bones. There are instances of global terrorism, murder, assassination, extortion, espionage, and armed police.
